Langhum Mitchell Communications and the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1300 are proud to announce that our weekly radio show/podcast, Lunch with Labor has won a first place award in the 2018 International Labor Communications Association Labor Media Awards competition! This is the second consecutive year the show has won first place.

LMC salutes ATU Local 1300 President David McClure for having the vision and the courage to launch the show. Lunch with Labor airs every Tuesday at noon on WOLB 1010 AM and is available 24/7 via podcast on the WOLB website. Over the course of its short history, Lunch with Labor has become a key communications portal for transit workers, transit users and labor advocates throughout the Baltimore/Washington region.

Guests include labor leaders from across North America; regional politicians; transit and labor policymakers; scholars, researchers, and other transit and labor thought leaders; and labor union members and working people from across the employment spectrum. The show covers a wide range of issues including labor policy and best practices, workplace safety, employment equity, and a full range of public transit issues.  Check it out!
