LMC was contracted by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to serve as its strategic communications partner in the Leadership for Community Change initiative. The place-based leadership program introduced dozens of grassroots organizations and community leaders from across the United States to the theoretical pillars of collective leadership, its practical applications, and in the advantages it offers to those working toward community change. Throughout the decade-long program, LMC provided branding, messaging, media relations, editorial/publications, communications training, and internal communications support for KLCC and its partners. These efforts helped to establish Kellogg and its KLCC partners as leaders in the emerging field of collective leadership, while also promoting the efficacy of its practice.
